October 25, Saturday: Create Elegant Microwave Kiln Jewelry (10:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.)
Read the training insert above to find out more information (click image above) Learn to use the microwave kiln to make gorgeous jewelry, such as dichroic glass pendants and earrings, enameled jewelry and fired PMC/Art Clay designs. This workshop will show you how to do the following: Create several glass pendants and earrings; Enamel and fire a copper pendant using glass enamels; Fire a PMC or Art Clay pendant; Learn to use a microwave conversion chart to fire your own pieces in your microwave at home! No more bulky and expensive kilns! Artist Sylvanye “Sam” Roh will be the instructor for this workshop. Cost: $150 and this will include all supplies and documentation used in the workshop.
